Is there anybody out there.. out there.. out there

Well a few things to note. It appears that at least one person *does* still occasionally read this page… other then the people who post here who seem to read it rather narcissistically. And for those of you who have a Intel Macs I’m posting here a beta universal binary of the saver. It’s basically just a UB build of the development code I’ve got handy, so there’s nothing particularly amazing about it… and it might have some goofy stuff. In other words it’s a beta. Normal cautions apply.

    OMG! UB! And the best part:

    Macbook Pro 17″ (but running on 30″ CD at native 2560×1600, default scenario, number of ships slider all the way to the right, graphics on best and all boxes checked (except for random view and poly shading of course), depth cutoff all the way to the right), runs like there’s two ships on the screen.

    AWESOME!

    Man, this was the speed burst we needed when the screensaver got a little “congested”. I’ve only been able to get the default ships to show up (all others are just invisible), but this is of course a beta. I’d be interested what was involved in the UB conversion.

    Anyways, sweet speed, good to see you’ve survived the Great Computer Depression of ‘05. And I’m not sure it’s fair to not post for two months and then fire off 3 posts and say no one checks the site every once in a while. =P

    Oh believe me I don’t blame anyone for not visiting this page… Well I blame myself… and possibly Jebus. Invisible ships? huh, Oh crap… that’s my in progress build (vertex arrays not quite initialized) oops!
